If i had my druthers, i'd always use western. Mann lake frame top feeders have there own drawbacks as i stated earlier and i prefer the wood version of miller feeders and offered it as a suggestion So i'm looking for an 18 or 20 frame extractor I've narrowed it down to the mann lake 18/9 vs the maxant 20
Based on reviews i've read, the maxant is made of substantially. But i've never order bees through the mail Local nucs are the way to go I, just the day before.
Mann lake's customer service and attitude towards it's customers has been absolutely terrible in my opinion since they were taken over by grey mountain partners.
Have any of you tried this mann lake 2 frame plastic extractor It is on sale through the end of the day for $169.95 or with a capping scratcher and filter for $179.95 Mann lake sucks bigtime i have only purchased once from mann lake and the order was shipped fast and arrived in good condition I have never bought bees from them.
Mann lake's management may wish to focus more on getting their bee supply business in order, rather than expanding into pallets of hand sanitizer
